Spencer Jackson, an IDC Staff Instructor, has been a PADI Professional since 1997 and a PADI Instructor since 2000.  Having started diving at the age of 12, Spencer has logged hundreds of dives in the warm waters off Florida and around the Caribbean.  Spencer is also an authorized First Aid and CPR Instructor through Medic First Aid and Emergency First Response.

In addition to his recreational scuba certifications, Spencer has earned his Cavern Diver certification from NACD, NSS-CDS, and PADI.

Spencer completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Rollins College in 1998 and his MBA with a focus on HR Management and Organizational Development in 2007.

Spencer also holds the coveted Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and is regularly quoted as a subject matter expert in trade publications such as Dive Center Business Magazine.

Spencer brings years of small business experience to Surface Interval as the former owner of several successful companies.
