Kevin B. GreenIDC Staff Instructor
Kevin B. Green, an IDC Staff Instructor, has been a PADI Member since 2000, and a PADI Instructor since 2001. In addition, Kevin is a Medic First Aid Instructor Trainer, a Divers Alert Network Instructor and an Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer. Since 2001, Kevin has guided numerous students through the underwater world, combining real world experience with the enthusiasm to mentor his students. In addition to his recreational scuba certifications, Kevin has earned his Cavern Diver certification from NACD, NSS-CDS, and PADI. He is also certified as a TDI Advanced Nitrox/Decompression Procedures diver. Kevin is a proud alumnus of Rollins College, where he obtained his A.B. in Sociology in 1999 and his M.A. with Honors in Corporate Communications and Technology in 2001. Kevin is regionally recognized as an expert in effective communication skills and regularly delivers training sessions on presentation skills, workplace communications, and conflict resolution. Kevin is regularly quoted as a subject matter expert in trade publications such as Dive Center Business Magazine. In the community, Kevin is a volunteer advisor to Winter Park Tech, a workforce education center and part of Orange County Public Schools. Over the last eleven years, Kevin has served on advisory committees, including two years as Chair of the School Advisory Committee. In Spring 2010, Kevin coached Winter Park Tech's SkillsUSA CPR/First Aid team to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place finishes at the Regional level, and 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Place finishes at the State level, in their first year of SkillsUSA competition. |
